Library Spaces
Mission Bay High School

The MBHS Library was built in 2004 and I had the opportunity to redesign the main floor layout with mobile hard and soft furniture and portable video display boards. The main floor is designed so that all mobile nesting tables and task chairs can be reconfigured to meet the needs of different learning activities or community meetings and events. I also redesigned the two lab spaces located in the library with all-in-one desktop computers for research and multimedia work. I used computer tables with a locking cord management compartment for all wires and ethernet switches. The labs have two connected video displays screens, one an electric pull-down screen with ceiling mounted projector and the other a portable interactive whiteboard.
